Ex-Police Judge Willis Cox is lying at death's door at Speers Hospital Friday at noon. His physicians say he can hardly survive the day. He is in an unconscious condition and cannot recognize his son, who has been constantly at his bedside.

Ex-Police Judge W H Cox died Friday night at Speers Hospital of paralysis, aged 63. Deceased was at one time a Deputy United States Marshal and Jailer at Independence and was a brother of "Cap" Cox, ex-Deputy County assessor of Kenton County.
He leaves two sons, R H and Marvin Cox, both druggists and one daughter, Mrs. Cullom, wife of Dr. Cullom of Erlanger Ky. At noon the arrangements for the funeral were completed. The regular services at the Methodist Church will be dispensed with and the funeral will take place at 11 am Sunday, Rev Boreing of Dayton and Rev Darlington officiating.
The remains will be taken to Independence Ky. for burial at 3 pm Sunday.
