Funeral services for William B Wendle, former World War veteran, will be held at 2:30 pm Tuesday at the Fred Erschell & Son Funeral home, Newport. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Wendle died Saturday night of a heart attack at his home, 127 16th street, Newport, coroner Martin J Sauter, said. The Newport Life Squad was called to the home. Mr. Wendle was 47. He was a paper hanger and had been a resident of Newport all his life. He leaves a widow, Marie Wendle; a sister, Miss Margare Wendle, and two brothers, Alfred and Edward Wendle, all of Newport.
