WILLIAM A WALSH, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. O C Walsh of 27 Wilbers Lane, Ft Thomas, is the fifth of the family's son to enter the armed forces. He enlisted in the Army recently and is stationed at Ft Thomas pending assignment.

One of Pvt. Walsh's brother has already given his life in the service of his country, another was in Ireland when last heard from, another in Indiana and one in Texas.

Pfc. Kenneth Walsh was injured fatally in October 1941 while returning from maneuvers. He died of burns suffered when an oil stove in an Army truck exploded near Arkadelphia, Ark.

William Walsh, of the Army Air Force, stationed at Presque Isle, Me. and Mrs. Walsh, who are here for 15 days are dividing their time with the formers parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Ones Walsh, of Wilbur Lane and with Mrs. Walsh's grandmother and mother, Mrs. Charles Erb and Mrs. Helen Keller of Wilson road. Mr. and Mrs. Ones Walsh, also have with them for the holidays their son, Sergt. Harry G Walsh, who is stationed at Ft Jackson SC.

They have two other sons overseas, Staff Sergt. John Robert Walsh, who is in India and Pvt. O C Walsh, who is in Africa.

Sergt. William A Walsh, editor of the Presque Isle Army Air Field News, Presque Isle, Me. and members of his staff received a remembrance card from Mrs. Raymond Clapper and family expressing their appreciation for the tribute paid to the husband and father, Raymond Clapper, famous war correspondent and columnist in the Feb 12 issue of the news.

Sergt. Walsh, son of Mr. and Mrs. O C Walsh, Ft Thomas, was employed in the Newport office of the Enquirer prior to his entry into the Army Air Forces Nov 21, 1942. He has been editor of the Army paper since Feb 1943.
