Funeral services for W C Tedrow, Civil War veteran, 352 Foote avenue, Bellevue, will be held Friday at 2:30 pm at the home of John J Radel Co funeral home, 822 York street, Newport. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr. Tedrow, 94, was one of Bellevue's oldest residents. He died Tuesday night at his home after a lingering illness. The veteran had been a member of Joe Hooker Post GAR of Bellevue. His death reduces the Post's membership to only two, one of whom is Capt. J D Compton, Covington, former Federal Court bailiff. The other member lives in Cincinnati.

Mr. Tedrow saw service for three years and three months of the Civil War and took part in many important battles. His father, Squire Tedrow, formerly one of Bellevue's most prominent citizens, died 25 years ago at the age of 98. Mr. Tedrow leaves four daughters, Mrs. Louis Mayer and Miss Addie Tedrow, both of Pennsylvania; Mrs. William Meuer, Bellevue and Mrs. Philip Farr, Yukon Alaska, and one son, George Tedrow, Bellevue.
