William Stauder, 36, veteran of the World War and former resident of Newport, died Saturday at the Cincinnati Tuberculosis Sanatorium after a confinement there of 3 1/2 years. Stauder is survived by his wife, Elsie; two sons, William Jr. and Donald; three sisters Mrs. O V Lauterach of Avondale; Mrs. Otto Schutte of Detroit Mich. and Mrs. William Seibert, New York City.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8:30 the William C Betz Sons funeral home, 23 E Sixth st. Newport. Requiem high mass will be sung at Corpus Christi Church and interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
