SPIEGEL'S FUNERAL
The funeral of William G Spiegel, of the firm of Melvane &
Spiegel, well known Cincinnati boiler makers, took place Monday afternoon at 2
o'clock from the family residence, corner of Third and Washington Avenue,
Newport. Rev J P Whitehead, of the First Presbyterian Church, of Newport,
conducted the services and a number of Mr. Spiegel's business associates and
friends attended attended. The pallbearers were: John R Scheible and Captain W O
B Stricker, both of Newport: T J Nichol, R J Archible, Joseph Blettner, Wash.
Meridith and Thomas Williams, all of Cincinnati and Ignatius Droege of
Covington.
The body was interred at Evergreen Cemetery. Many beautiful floral tributes were received.
