Funeral services for Dr. William L Shannon, 47, former resident of Newport, who died last Saturday at his home, 2347 Park av. Walnut Hills, will he held Tuesday at the home, with requiem high mass at 10 am at the Church of the Assumption, Walnut Hills. Burial will be in St Stephen Cemetery, Campbell co. Dr. Shannon was a resident of Newport a number of years. He was a son of the late John J Shannon, former Newport realtor.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Beatrice King Shannon; his mother Mrs. Mary Shannon, and a brother, John Shannon, Detroit. Funeral arrangements are in charge of William C Betz Sons, Newport undertakers.
