Staff, congratulated S Sgt. William R Rippley, of 336 Fairfield avenue,
Bellevue, as he presented the soldier the Purple Heart during final ceremonies
prior t the Bellevue man's discharge from the service.
While serving overseas for 19 months. S Sgt. Rippley was a member of the 33d Infantry Division.
