BANK OFFICER DIES WHILE DRIVING CAR
William A. Pfeiffer, 71, retired florist and Ft. Thomas bank and building loan official, suffered a heart attack while driving his car through Cold Spring Friday and died. Coroner Martin J. Sauter, Campbell county, returned the verdict. He was told the auto narrowly escaped striking two children before it plunged into a fence along Winter lane. Only minor damage was done to the car.
Mr. Pfeiffer was dead before aid could be given him, witnesses said. He was vice president of the Highland Bank and president of the Highland Building and Loan Association. A native of Cincinnati, he had lived 40 years in Ft. Thomas.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Katherine Pfeiffer; a son, Clarence; a daughter, Mrs. Jack Moore; a brother, Louis Pfeiffer Jr., with whom he was associated for years as a florist; and two sisters, Miss Stella and Clara Pfeiffer.
The Dobbling funeral home, Ft. Thomas, is in charge of arrangements.
