DEATH
William A Otting, 53, for 35 years engaged in the cigar
manufacturing business in Newport, died yesterday at his home, 806 Park avenue,
of heart trouble. He was one of the best known citizens of Newport. He helped to
organize the Newport Bowling Club, was Treasurer of the Model Loan and Building
Association, Past Grand Master of Woodward Lodge of Odd Fellows of Cincinnati, a
member of the Young Men's Blaine Club and a member of Newport Lodge of Elks.
He leaves a widow and four children, Oliver S, W A Jr. Miss Edith and Miss Nellie Louise Otting. A special meeting of the Newport Bowling Club will be held this evening at the Heidelberg to make arrangements for attending the funeral.
