On September 24, 1832, William Orcutt appeared in open court, and being a resident of Campbell County, Kentucky, and being a the age of 69 years on the 16th of July of the present year, stated after having been duly sworn, according to oath, that he enlisted for 8 months to serve in the company under the command of Captain James Deany

William DeCourcy and John Ducker, residing in the county and state aforesaid certify that they are well acquainted with the said William Orcutt, and they also state and swear that they believe him to be at the age of 69 years and they believe that he served as a soldier in the War of the Revolution.
