William L Foertmeyer, veteran northern Kentucky druggist and former Cincinnatian, died Monday at his home, Fairfield and Washington avenues, Bellevue Ky. after a nine week illess. He was 78. He was born in Cincinnati Feb 22, 1861, and went to Bellevue in 1887 and started a drug store. Later he moved to his present location at Washington and Fairfield avenues, where he conducted the business for almost a half century.

He leaves his widow, Mrs. Anna Foertmeyer, three sons, Dr. William A Foertmeyer and Easton of Bellevue, and Samuel of California; and two daughters, Miss Helen Foertmeyer at home and Mrs. Margaret Moore, Newport.

Mrs. Anna Foertmeyer, 81 of 401 Fairfield avenue, Bellevue, died last Monday at her home. She was the widow of the late William L Foertmeyer, a Bellevue druggist for more than 50 years. Mr. Foertmeyer died two years ago. She leaves two daughters, Helen and Margaret; three sons, Dr. William A Foertmeyer, Bellevue physician; Easton Foertmeyer, Silverton O. and Samuel Foertmeyer, California and six grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday at the A C Dobbling& Sons, Bellevue funeral home with burial in Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati.
