FUNERAL-The funeral of the late William Hays, of 113 John Street, Newport, took place Saturday afternoon, with services at the home. Noah's Dove Lodge IOOP, of which the deceased was a prominent member, had charge of the funeral and the services held by that body were very impressive. The casket bearing the remains were covered with beautiful floral emblems sympathizing friends and relatives, among which was a pillar sent by Noah's Dove Lodge, bearing the three links, on which rested a pure white dove. At the close of the services the remains were laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery.
