Bernard Koop, 11 of Dayton is recovering from his mysterious illness. The boy has been ill for seven weeks and his case has been discussed widely by physicians. Mrs. Koop called a new doctor into the case. He is Dr. William A Foertmeyer, 405 Fairfield av. Bellevue. Dr. Foertmeyer will make an x-ray of the boy's stomach to determine the nature of the disease.

An x-ray examination made Monday by Dr. William A Foertmeyer, Bellevue, disclosed a subphrenic abscess has developed in the upper part of the boy's abdomen. The boy was removed to Speers Hospital and operated on by Dr. Foertmeyer.

Five youths of Bellevue and Dayton are recovering at their homes of injuries received Sunday in an auto accident on Pools Creed Road, south of Newport. Joseph and Frank Besse, David Meyers Earl Hank and Charles Miles were removed first to Speers Hospital, then to their homes where they were treated by Dr. William A Foertmeyer.
