FORMER ENGINEER DIES

Cold Spring Man Once Employed At Army Post

William H. Crooks died last night after a long illness at his residence, Dodsworth Lane and Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring. Mr. Crooks for many years was a stationary engineer at the Fort Thomas Army Post.  Since his retirement several years ago, he had operated a farm at Cold Spring.

His wife, Mrs. Margaret Ross Crooks, who died several months ago, was a pioneer citizen of Cold Spring. Two daughters, Mrs. Robert Forthman, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Howard McCullough, Cold Spring, survive him.

Services will be held at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon at the Dobbling funeral home, Fort Thomas. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate.
