Funeral arrangements are being completed by the John J Radel funeral home, Newport, for William Cook, 47, Johns Hill road, Licking pike, operator of a cafe there for 10 years, who died Wednesday at the Veterans Memorial Hospital, Dayton Oh.

A veteran of World War I, he leaves a widow, Mary Weber Cook; two brothers, George, Deer Park O. and Joseph Cook, Detroit, Mich; three sisters, Mrs. E Kyle, Cold Spring; Mrs. Jessie Smeltz, Newport and Mrs. Bertha Revell South Newport.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Monday at the John J Radel funeral home, Newport, for William Cook, 47, who died earlier in the week at the Veterans Memorial Hospital, Dayton O. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Cook, who at one time operated a cafe on Johns Hill road, was a World War I veteran.

He leaves his widow, Mary Weber Cook; two brothers, George, Deer Park O. and Joseph Cook, Detroit, Mich; three sisters, Mrs. E Kyle, Cold Spring; Mrs. Jessie Smeltz, Newport and Mrs. Bertha Revell South Newport.
