I am in the-process of gathering information about the BUSH family of Pendleton County, Kentucky. I have studied the information available in the E,-E, Barton Genealogical Collection on record in the Falmouth Public Library and the LDS (Mormon) records in Salt Lake City, Utah. I have pulled together considerable data on the ancestors of WILLIAM BUSH (1758-1827) and ELIZABETH SHEARER (unknown).
I know they came from Virginia but I don't know when or where they came from in Virginia. I know ELIZABETH'S family came from-Campbell County Court House, now known as Rustburg, Virginia. Her father's name was probably WILLIAM SHEARER and she had a brother named WILLIAM who lived in Campbell County, a brother MATHEW who removed to Madison County, Kentucky, a brother THOMAS who lived in Campbell County, a brother ANDREW who lived in Russell County, Kentucky and a sister PATSY who married a Hackkins and lived in Campbell Co.
