BROTHER OF NEWPORT'S MAYOR
William Biltz, 45, a collector on the Newport and Covington
Bridge and brother of E F Biltz, Mayor of Newport, died early Saturday morning
at his residence, 82 West Second Street, Newport, after a lingering illness. A
third stroke of paralysis, received about midnight Friday caused his demise.
He had been ill for the past three years, suffering from the first stroke of paralysis in May 1896. Biltz leaves a widow (nee Mary March) and one daughter, Lilly, 14. He was a member of Eureka Lodge No 7 K of P which will conduct the funeral. The funeral will be held next Tuesday from his late residence, with interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
William Biltz was a well-known blacksmith, who had been a life long resident of Newport.

WM BILTZ'S FUNERAL
The funeral of WIlliam H Biltz, brother of the Mayor of Newport, who died Saturday at his home, 80 West Second Street, Newport, after a three years illness, will take place Tuesday at 2 pm from Salem M E Church. Rev Roser will officiate, and the pallbearers will be his four nephews, Charles H Biltz, George Biltz, William Seekamp, William Clause and two Pythian Knights from Eureka Lodge. The latter lodge will have charge of the obsequies.
