William Beard, (sic) 93, Civil War veteran, died at the home of his son, William D Beard, 1224 Fourth av. Dayton Wednesday, following an illness of two months. Beard is survived by his widow, Sarah, of New York and four sons, Seymour, John, Thomas and William and four daughters, Julia, Lydia, Mary and Katherine.

Allison and Rose, Covington undertakers are in charge of the funeral. Beard's body will be shipped to Latrobe Pa. where it will be buried.
