Six northern Kentucky soldiers owned honorable discharges from the Army Saturday on the basis of the 85 point elegibility ruling passed by the Army. They were among the first group to be released from Camp Atterbury, Ind. which as been named as the separation center for Kentucky.

Those men who received discharges include: Cpl. William E Bane of 44 W 18th street, Newport. Cpl. Bane is the husband of Mrs. Jessie Bane, secretary to Leo Livingston, Newport Police Chief.

An examination for secretary to Chief Leo Livingston will be held as Mrs. Jessie Bane has tendered her resignation effective July 1.

 A baby boy has been born to Mrs. Jessie Bane, or 44 18th street, South Newport, former secretary to the late Leo Livingston, Newport police chief. The father is William Bane, a veteran of World War II. The baby was born at Booth Hospital.
