COLD SPRING-William Alford of Twelve Mile, who was accidentally shot several days ago by William Koeninger, is in a serious condition. His relatives and friends are expecting his death at any time. Dr. Robert Kearns was summoned Monday to perform an operation but did not do so, as Alford cannot live.

DEATH-William Alford, who was accidentally shot by Henry Koeninger near Alexandria last week died Wednesday of blood poisoning. Koeninger is very much depressed over the fatal termination of the accident, as he and Alford were the best of friends.
The deceased was 62 years of age and well known farmers. He leaves three grown children.
