1814
Proved: September 22, 1828
"In the name of God Amen. I Frank Spilman of Campbell County and State of Kentucky, being of sound mind and perfect memory, do make and ordain this to be my last will and testament and my desire is that it may be received by all as Such; after my Just debts being paid I give and bequeath to my wife Rebekah Spilman my hole and sole estate to dispose of at her discretion, and I do herby nominate and appoint my beloved wife, Henry E Spilman and Thomas F Spilman as my hole and sole executors. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 14th day of June 1814."

Campbell County September Court 1828:
"The foregoing last will and testament of Frank Spilman deceased, was this day produced in court and being without witnesses General Squire Grant and James G Lindsey made oath that it was their belief said writing is wholly in the hand writing of the decedent, whereupon said will was ordered to be recorded which is done accordingly and Henry E Spilman one of the executors named in the will on his motion, he having made oath thereto and together with William Decourcy and William Riley his Securities entered into and acknowledged bond in the penalty of $400 conditioned as the law directs, certificate is granted him for obtaining a probat of said will in due form. Given under my hand this 22nd day of September 1828."
