LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ELIZABETH H. HUDSON
I, Elizabeth H. Hudson, of Dayton, Campbell County, Kentucky, being in good health both of body and mind, do make this my Will, hereby revoking all other Wills by me at any time heretofore made.
I. I desire that all my just debts be paid.
II. I leave all my household effects to my brother William G. Hudson and should I acquire a home hereafter, I give, grant and convey such home and all that is in it, except jewelry and wearing apparel, to my said brother, his heirs and assigns forever.
III. My jewelry and wearing apparel, I leave to my sister, Mary L. Thompson absolutely to keep or depose of as she sees fit.
IV. Of all my remaining property whether now possessed or hereafter acquired, I leave one half to said brother absolutely, the other half I leave to my sister, Mary L. Thompson for her life, free from all control or participation of her husband and with a right in her to consume any part or all of the principal if she deems it necessary for her comfort.
If she survives her husband, she shall take her said half absolutely. If she
does not survive her husband, her half or so much of it as is unconsumed shall
go at her death to my said brother if living, and if not living then said half
shall be equally divided between the Children’s Home of Cincinnati and the
Widows Home and Asylum for aged and Indigent Females of Cincinnati.
V. I appoint my said brother executor of this Will and desire that no Bond or inventory be required of him as such and that as such executor he have charge of my sister’s aforesaid with power to sell and reinvest at the discretion as he deems best for her interests.
