LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ELIZABETH JACOBS
I, Elizabeth Jacobs of the Town of Bellevue, Ky being of sound mind and disposing memory do hereby make publish and ordain the following as and for my last Will and Testament.
First I direct the herein after named Executors of this my last Will and Testament to sell and convey all of my property real and personal and convert the same into money, hereby empowering them to execute and deliver all necessary papers or investments to fully carry out this power and to distribute the money realized from said sales, together with any money that I may leave in the following manner:
First to have erected a monument over my grave and one over the grave of my son Harry, each not to exceed fifty dollars.
Second to the Presbyterian
Church in the City of Dayton, Ky the sum of five hundred $500.00 dollars.
Third to my dear friend Charles Kendall of Bellevue, Ky the sum of Five Hundred
dollars ($500.00).
Fourth to Alice B. Hays of Covington, Ky and to Emma Orr of Newport KY the sum of one hundred ($100.00) dollars each.
Fifth To the Catholic St Joseph’s Orphan Asylum at Cold Springs, Ky and to the Protestant Orphan’s Home of Newport both in Campbell County, Ky the sum of Two hundred and Fifty ($250.00) dollars each.
The balance they will divide into three equal shares and pay one share to the Children’s Home of Cincinnati, Ohio and one share to the Rev. Beatty Home orrecule? Mission of Cincinnati, Ohio and one share to the Home of the Friendless of Cincinnati Ohio.
I hereby nominate and appoint my friends George W. Robson Jr. and John Cuningham both of Bellevue, Ky as Executors of this my last Will and Testament and Mr. M. Herold having advised me concerning my affairs during my life I devise that my said Executor, employ and consult him as Attorney relative to the settlement of estate.
I hereby revoke any and all former Wills or testaments made by me.
In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand this 20th day of August 1901.
