Chancellor Menzies rendered the following orders and judgments in
the Chancery Court yesterday: N S Shaler et al. against Mary Shaler et al.
Judgment that Anna S Berry and Mary Shaler each take an undivided equal one
third part of the estate of Anna H Shaler, deceased for the term of their
natural lives, with the remainder over in to their children for their sole and
separate use under the will of said Anna H Shaler, and order the sale of the
property of the decedent in Campbell and Kenton Counties, and a division of the
proceeds among the heirs as ordered above.
Shaler Berry was appointed Special Commissioner to execute the above judgment and was ordered to give bond in the sum of $100,000 to faithfully perform the duties as such. One third of the proceeds of the sale was ordered paid to N S Shaler and the other two-thirds to be re-invested in productive real estate, one half of which to be conveyed to Anna S Berry for life for her sole and separate use, the Commissioner to report back.
The estate is valued at $300,000.
