The Webster regiment is comfortable quartered in the building formerly used as a rope walk in Jamestown, and recruits are pouring in daily. We think that a few more stirring appeals from Messrs. Baker, Edwards and Root would have the effect of completing the regiment in a short time.

Hon. George P Webster received a telegraphic dispatch yesterday from Adjutant General Finell at Frankfort, countermanding the order which was received the day before, directing the Webster regiment to proceed to Camp Sigel, near Louisville. We learn that Major Heillman's regiment at Camp Siegel, with which the Webster regiment was to have united, has made arrangements to consolidate with some other organization. The Webster regiment will consolidate with Colonel Jacobs forces at La Grange Ky.
