Warren Griffith, an alleged deserter from Company A, Second Infantry, when that company was stationed at this post, was apprehended by the civil authorities at Ashland Ky. and turned over here to the Post Commander. He is now in the post guardhouse, awaiting trial by general court martial.

Private Warren Griffith, Company C, Second Infantry, found guilty of desertion, was sentence by the general court martial to be dishonorably discharged, forfeiting all pay and allowances due him and to be confined at hard labor under guard for one year.
