DEATH
Requiem High Mass for Walter A. Rittinger, farmer and lifelong resident of Campbell county, will be sung at SS. Peter and Paul Church, Twelve Mile, at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, following prayers at the Tharp & Stith funeral home, Alexandria, at 8:30 a.m. Burial will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
Mr. Rittinger, who was 52, died Sunday at his residence at Gubser’s Mill; following a lingering illness. He leaves his mother, Mrs. Barbara Rittinger, and a brother, Clarence Rittinger, both of Twelve Mile.
The St. Aloysius Young Men’s Society of SS. Peter & Paul Church, of which he was a member, will meet at the funeral home for prayers at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
