Private Charles R Roberts, Fortieth Company, Coast Artillery and
Private Walter M Foley, Company I, Seventh Infantry, were tried for desertion
before a general court martial, convened at this post, Ft Thomas, yesterday and
sentenced to be dishonorably discharged and the former to one year and the
latter to 18 months hard labor at the Ft Leavenworth Military Prison.
