Cincinnati is going to have another high class billiard room located at Sixth and Walnut streets and will be known as the Crescent. It will be managed by Wallace Barker who formerly had charge of the billiard room at the Havlin Hotel. Barker is also prominent in bowling circles.

Ceremonies marked the installation of officers of the new Lawler-Hanlon Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Sunday. During the afternoon 123 members were inducted. Among those were Wallace Barker, Campbell county patrolman and his son, Wallace Barker Jr. The father, who served in the Navy was wounded in the South Pacific.
