Virginia A. Hogan, 71, of Newport, died at 1:01 p.m. Tuesday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas. She was a retired bookkeeper with Multi-Craft Printing Co., Newport, and a member of Holy Spirit Church, Newport. Her husband, James E. Hogan, died in 1983. Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Baute of Burlington; sons, Mike Hogan of Newport and Jim Hogan of Alexandria; a brother, Charles Baker of Covington; a sister, Judy Osburg of Newport; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
