Cincinnati Enquirer, 7 June 1888, page 7

NEWPORT

The funeral of Tommie Livingston will take place this morning from the Church of Immaculate Conception.  His pall bearers will be his intimate companions in life.

Poor Tommie, he was a great admirer of baseball.  On the afternoon before he died it was thought by those who were at his bed side that the grim reaper had called for him.  He rallied in a few moments, however, and his last words were: "What's the score?"

The pallbearers will be Charles Hallam, Joseph Ryan, Albert Anstead, Jacob Ritter, Albert St John, John Ryan, Geo Linnehan.  His friends have sent several elegant floral tributes.
