CELEBRATED THEIR 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF WEDDING

Mr. and Mrs. John Todd, who celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary Sunday at their home in Alexandria, Campbell County, where they have resided for half a century.  A duplicate wedding was solemnized under the trees on the lawn, the Rev Dr. Shanks, pastor of the Baptist church officiating.

Miss Virginia Todd, granddaughter of the couple, presented the ring, which was used at the initial wedding sixty years ago.  Mr. Todd has served as vice president of the American National bank, Newport for a quarter of a century and the officials of that institution were present at the celebration.

More than one hundred relatives and friends called to extend congratulations.
