New Commander of the Rankin Prout Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars, is T L Baxter, a veteran of the World War, who as a sergeant under Capt. Samuel Woodfill saw services in France, Belgium and England.
Mr. Baxter was installed last night at the joint installation of the post and ladies auxilary at 415 York street, Newport. Mr. Baxter will appoint his committees at the next meeting, he said.
