Thomas Jefferson Willison, former Cincinnati painter who was known for his landscapes of Miami Valley countryside, was found dead at his studio residence at 13450 Cedar Road, Cleveland Heights. He was about 76.
Death came to him from a heart attack Sunday as he was writing a letter while seated in a chair in his apartment. His body was discovered at 9:30 am when the apartment custodian entered the artist's rooms after noticing the Plain Dealer delivered to Mr. Willison each morning, had not been touched.
Mr. Willison came here from Cincinnati in 1933 to be near his daughter, Mrs. Adela Robinson, who is his only immediate survivor. Mrs. Robinson is the wife of Max B Robinson, director of co-operative work at Penn College.
His body will be at the George Sharer, Inc. funeral home 2436 Prospect Avenue S e until midnight tonight, when it will be taken to Cincinnati.

Services for Thomas J Willison, artist, who was found dead of a
heart attack yesterday at Cleveland, will be held at 11 am Wednesday at Highland
Cemetery. A native of Brent, Campbell county, Mr. Willison lived at Milford O.
for several years before moving to Cleveland in 1933.
His wife, a sister of the late state Harry J Meyers, Covington, died in 1930. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Adela W Robinson, Cleveland.
