NEWPORT
The new Chief of Police, Thomas Stewart, has selected for his day men, Robert Connolly, Joe Jones and Louis Lohr; John Turner for roundsman and August Seiter as jail guard.
It happens, though that the latter position is filled by Council and perchance some good Democrat may fill the snap.
