ordered that Conius Beagle, Wm Wallace, Fergeson German and
Thomas Logan or any 3 being sworn do
view the was proposed for a road commencing in the Washington Trace at or near
the County line to intersect the road passing near Mrs. Shaw's and report the
conveniences and inconveniences &c.

Andrew Biggs, Jas Hubbard, Garret Daniel and
Thomas Logan, or any 3 being sworn to view the way proposed for a road
from the mouth of Clear lick branch beginning on the road leading from the
Ohio to Grants Lick, to the nearest point on the Ohio river, and report to
Court the Conveniences resulting to the public as Well as Individuals if said
road be opened.

to commence at the West line of said Fishers land to intersect the said road
at the most suitable point after passing through his plantation and report the

Indenture made 1 May 1841 between John Nelson and Andrew Biggs, both of the County of Campbell. John has this day sold for the consideration of $700, all right in my Father's estate by a Deed of Gift respecting the land on which my Father occupied in said County adjoining John Barker and Edward Morin on Wells Creek containing 246 acres. Also my respect in my Father's estate respecting his negroes.

On Motion of John Nelson who qualified and together with Andrew Biggs, his security, executed and acknowledged bond in the penalty of $800, conditioned according to law Administration is granted him on the estate of Richard Nelson deceased.
And on motion of said Nelson, Wm H Lacy, Wm J Morin, Thos Logan, Wm M Newman are appointed to appraise the personal estate and slaves, if any of said deceased and report to Court.
Page 279-It is ordered that John Nelson Admr.
of Richard Nelson, decd. hand over all the papers of said Richard Nelson
deceased to William M Newman, Esqr.

Ordered that
Thomas Logan be appointed Surveyor of the Road commencing at the
Methodist Church on the Washington Trace Road, thence down said Road to where
it intersects Gray's Road at Carroll Forman's and that all the hand that were
formerly allotted to Charles Dicken, former Surveyor, including Alfred Dial,
John Dial, Joseph Hume, Jacob Philips, Chas Clinkenbeard & Elisha Irwin.

On Motion of Charles Dicken, it is ordered
that Thomas Logan, Adam Miller, Jacob
Carnes and Charles Clinkenbeard or any three of them being first duly sworn be
appointed viewers to view and mark out a way for a road from A Miller's line
in the road from Alexandria to Washington trace to intersect a road from
Pendleton County in said Dickens land and report to court the conveniences and
inconveniences arising as well to the publick as to individuals.
