NEWPORT
News was received here yesterday of the death at Felicity Ohio,
of Thomas Duckworth Sr. formerly a well known citizen of Newport. He was past 90
years of age and leaves a widow and several grown children.
One son is now residing at Avalon, Penn. and he was notified of his father's death last night. Mr. Duckworth was one of the charger members of Noah's Dove Lodge of Odd Fellows. Funeral director Smith will receive the body tomorrow morning.
