VETERAN DIES IN NEWPORT
Thomas Dixon, 83, known as "Uncle Tom" oldest member of the
Masonic fraternity in Kentucky and the son of a Waterloo veteran, died at his
home, 116 West Fourth St. Newport Ky. Sunday from pneumonia. He was a sufferer
from paralysis.
He came to Cincinnati in 1847 from Toronto. His second wife, who survives him, was Mrs. Hester Armstrong of Cincinnati.

AT REST
The funeral of the late Thomas Dixon, a pioneer in Masonry, whose death occurred Saturday night, took place Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with services in the chapel at Evergreen Cemetery. Robert Burns Lodge F and A M of Newport Commandery, Knights Templers had charge of the services.
