Prominent Riverman Called by Death


Thomas Coppin, a prominent riverman, living at 263 Second st. Newport, died this morning after a short illness with a complication of diseases. Coppin for many years was a mate on one of the large Ohio River Boates.

He leaves a family. The funeral arrangements have not been completed.
