Thomas Cook Sr. died Thursday at his home on Washington Avenue,
Newport. He was a member of the old volunteer fire department in Newport and was
a well known contractor.
The funeral will take place Monday morning from the Church of the Immaculate Conception.

The funeral of the late Thomas Cook took place Monday morning at 9 am from the Immaculate Conception Church. He was a volunteer fireman years ago in Newport and the fire bells tolled in his honor. The Church was crowded with friends and relatives and the casket was covered with many beautiful floral tributes.
