Alex Hornsby, Rockwood avenue, Ft Thomas, received several
posthumous awards for his son, Theodore Hornsby, which were presented at an
auxiliary meeting of Latonia Legion Post No 203. They are the Purple Heart with
two Oak Leaf Clusters, Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbon with
two Bronco Service Stars and one Arrowhead, the World War II Victory Ribbon and
the Combat Infantryman's Badge.
First Lt. Searcy C Glass, commander of the Covington Army Recruiting Station, presented the awards to Mr. Hornsby.
