NEWPORT
Theodore Fagin, one of Newport's most respected citizens and a
pioneer flour manufacturer of Cincinnati, died early yesterday morning at the
family residence on Fifth street, near Washington avenue. The deceased was
75 years of age and the founder of the Fagin Flour Mills on Lock street in
Cincinnati.
He retired 10 years ago because of ill health. Some four weeks ago he was stricken by the heat and this affected his mind. He was taken to Speer's Hospital for treatment and placed in a private ward, but yesterday his condition becoming critical, he was removed to his home that he might die surrounded by his loved ones.
The funeral will take place at 4 o'clock today.
