Latest Notices-Fire at Newport
At about one o'clock yesterday morning there was an alarm of fire, and the light being in the direction, several of the engines proceeded to the landing, but the ferry boat did not come over. It was the Mansion House of General Taylor, which was entirely consumed.

Fire in Newport
The mansion house of Gen. JAMES TAYLOR, was destroyed by fire on Saturday night last together with the greater part of his furniture. It is supposed to be the work of an incendiary.
