NEWPORT
Tandy L Reed, a member of the police force of Newport, died on
Tuesday night at his residence on Walnut street, near Patterson, of consumption.
He was Marshall of the city of Covington for two years and during the war was a
member of Capt. James Foley's company in Fremont's Body Guard.
