DEATH
Requiem High Mass will be sung at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stephen Church for Mrs. Sylvia Grefer, 317 E. Sixth street, Newport, who died of a heart attack Sunday at her apartment. Prayers will be said at 8:30 a.m. at the Radel funeral home, Newport. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
Mrs. Grefer, who was 45, was the wife of Jacob Grefer, proprietor of Grefer’s Café at the Sixth street address.
Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Tom and Larry Grefer; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Huck, Newport; three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Thress, Ft. Thomas; Mrs. Irene Caudill, Hawaii; and Miss Lorraine Huck, Newport; and two brothers, Edward and William Huck, both of Newport.
