Amid shots fired by other soldiers, Private Steve Spronks, of Cincinnati, escaped from the Ft Thomas Guardhouse Tuesday. Spronks was later reported to be trapped near Brent Ky. It is charged he deserted a month ago and went to Ft Leavenworth where he re-enlisted.
