Stephen Benton Amos

PFC Stephen Benton Amos Jr. 21, son of Mrs. John White, of Ripple
Creek road, Cold Spring was killed in action March 28 in Germany, the War
Department notified his mother. A former student of Cold Spring High School,
Pfc. Amos entered the Army in January 1940 and served in Panama three years
before being sent overseas.
A sister, Cadet Nurse Eleanor Amos, stationed at Eugene Ore.
