NEWPORT
Last night about 7 o'clock Michael Quinn, aged 22 years and given
his home at 124 Water street, Cincinnati, called at the office of Squire Bodkins
and displaying two ghastly wounds on his head, he asked for a warrant for the
arrest of William Thompson, the mate on the steamboat Robert Peoples,
that is at present lying at the foot of Columbia street.
