Lieutenant Stanley Ross, of the Artillery Corps, who since his
return from a tour of service in the Philippines has been on duty at posts
bordering on the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic seaboard, will arrive here from
Ft Wadsworth NY, Friday, and while on leave will visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
L L Ross, of Ft Thomas.

The Lieut. Ross drowned at Ft Monroe, Va. Saturday, is not a relative of the Ross family of the Highlands. Lieut. Stanley Ross, son of Mr. and Mrs. L L Ross, of Ft Thomas Av. is a student officer at Ft Monroe, but the young officer drowned by falling in the moat from his bicycle is from a Pennsylvania family.

Stanley Symmes Ross was born 31 Mar 1877 in the Highlands Ky. son of Lewis Lockwood Ross and Mary Symmes. He died 4 Oct 1932 and was buried in the Arlington Cemetery.
